The preparation that God sets for us as we enter into such sensitive moments is usually the place of communion - intimacy - with him. You see, outside of the place of communion with God we do not get the priviledge of seeing and understanding what God is doing in a particular season.
I hope it doesn't sound psychotic but, it hit me that some people, inasmuch as they are celebrating life, might be celebrating their nearing the finish line. Sorry.
